Our location services use a variety of technology to locate a handset. Primarily we use cell-ID to locate a mobile phone to within a certain transmission cell. Accuracy is greater in areas of high population density (e.g. large towns and cities), and reduces as population density reduces (e.g. in the countryside).

If the phone is switched off we have the function to send an alert and then locate the phone when it is switched on. We also have the ability to call the handset periodically and if answered we provide automated instructions on how to return the phone for a possible reward.

Our phone location tool works almost instantly. We get the location data direct from the mobile networks, and this is updated constantly.

Our service will not work with landline numbers. It will only give the location of mobile phones registered to an Australian mobile cell network. The service does not require the user to install any apps or other software. The service works cross-platform, which means it can work on Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, and older basic phones.

Our service supports all the major mobile phone networks in Australia, except unfortunately we do not currently support phones registered to Aldi Mobile and ONEmobile networks due to technical incompatibilities.

To use our location service, your phone must be registered, and connected, to an Australian mobile phone network. If your phone is registered to an Australian network, but you are currently in a different country on holiday for example, then we will not be able to use the location lookup service to locate your phone.

Billing help

Access to the service is charged at $29.95 per month. There is no minimum contract period, and the service can be cancelled at any time by logging into your account and clicking the "Close account" button within the account settings.
